Houston’s
Posted March 17th, 2009 by MegI recently had an hour to kill at the Santa Monica Promenade. I got a glass of wine and my favorite (unlisted) side dish at Houston’s: the artichoke! It’s one of my favorite vegetables ever and I have found Houston’s to be the most delicious. However, for thirteen dollars a plate, I am willing to try to make it at home.

I love artichokes! My parents steam them with lemon - so good!
I still have never been to Houston’s. It’s another of those restaurants that everyone else has been to a number of times (a la Father’s Office) that continues to taunt me. I’ve heard their french dip is absurd. In a good way. :)

Steamed with lemon, sounds delish!
Alright, so since I work like 10 feet away from Houston’s on the Promenade and you work in Santa Monica… that is where we have to go!
The french dip is the best :)
