Frogo Waffles!
Posted September 17th, 2008 by Meg
Last week I stopped by Frogo to see if they had any new flavors. Alas, they only had their usual (Tart, Green Tea, Death By Chocolate, White Chocolate Mousse, and Wild Mountain Strawberry). I ordered my favorite: White Chocolate Mousse with M&Ms. I found out that their yogurt is made from all natural fructose instead of high fructose corn syrup. So that’s good news; the less high fructose corn syrup in life, the better! I also learned that they just added waffles to their menu. The people behind the counter were kind enough to give me a sample too. I chose Wild Mountain Strawberry to pair with my warm waffle which was then topped with strawberries, syrups, and powdered sugar. I never combine yogurt/ice cream with cookies/cakes/waffles, so the warm waffle and fruity yogurt teamed up to be a pleasant treat.

Meg, have you had the Bossa Nova Waffle Sundae at Fred 62? I don’t much like Fred 62, but that is one of the best ice cream and waffle combinations I’ve ever had. You should go.

I have never tried the Bossa Nova Waffle Sundae at Fred 62. I kind of have the same feelings towards that place as you do. However, your mentioning of this superior combo makes me want to check it out! Thanks for the advice and the comment! :)

Fred 62 is trash with a capital TRASH. The only way you should try their waffle sundae is to cool you down after wrecking up the joint with a novelty-sized meat tenderizer!
OK that’s maybe a little harsh… but I’m not a fan.
