Busted.

I received an email from my friend Alex:

“Your blog makes you sound much more cultured than you actually are. I know that you’re actually sitting around your apartment eating tubs of cake frosting like Goldie Hawn in Death Becomes Her. You, dear lady, are a fraud.”

It’s all true.

I looked all over the west side for organic tubs of frosting, but alas Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods do not carry even a tub of regular frosting (I know, shocking!). I finally ended up at Ralphs, and bought one Duncan Hines Classic Vanilla and one Betty Crocker Whipped Chocolate. If I was more serious about this review, I would have bought the same flavor, but I really didn’t want to have two tubs of the same frosting in my fridge. As far as brands of frosting goes, I think everyone is a winner. I preferred the Classic Vanilla though. But, with so many great bakeries and yummy cupcakes in this city, it is ridiculous for me to make my own baked goods.

Also, Alex has his own blog. Although not as fun, clever, interesting, or as updated as mine, it is still nice to look at, occasionally, when there is nothing better to do. So if you are bored of picking your nose, and don’t have a toenail left to clip, visit his blog.
